On March 27, 2026, the “Encounter Brazil, Embrace the World” event, featuring the Qingdao Free Trade Zone Coffee Enterprises Forum and 1st Brazil Specialty Coffee Cupping, was successfully held in the Qingdao Free Trade Zone. The event was hosted by the Administrative Committee of the Qingdao Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), guided by the Huangdao District (Qingdao West Coast New Area) Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and organized by Qingdao FTZ Investment Promotion Co., Ltd. and the Qingdao Coffee Culture Association. It focused on in-depth exchanges on China-Brazil coffee industry cooperation, overseas business expansion, and cross-border resource matching.

At the event, ApexBrasil attended together with the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association and 11 Brazilian coffee companies, engaging face-to-face with Chinese coffee businesses, export-oriented enterprises, and representatives of related organizations. The program included keynote remarks and exchanges, industry presentations, introductions to overseas expansion services, corporate case sharing, a launch ceremony, coffee tasting and networking sessions, and business discussions. These activities created a practical and efficient platform for dialogue and cooperation between Chinese and Brazilian participants in the coffee sector. Distinguished guests, including Victor Queiroz, Chief Representative for Asia-Pacific at ApexBrasil, attended the event.
